Elva Iris Bennett, 69, of Vienna, passed away Monday, April 29, 2024, in her home surrounded by her family.
She was born Dec. 29, 1954, to James and Shirley (Roupe) Lycett at Washington, Penn.
She was united in marriage to Scott Edward Bennett, April 3, 1993, in Phoenix, Ariz.
Elva was a loan processor and loan processor manager for 17 years in Phoenix, Ariz. until moving to Vienna in 1997. She worked for Neubert Nursey, and Plant Essentials, WOW Pizza, Dollar General, G&W Food, Eagles Club, Sally’s Restaurant, the Sale Barn and for a short time she worked as a loan processor in Jefferson City.
She was preceded in death by parents, James and Shirley; son, Michael McCoy; and brother, Jack Lycett.
She is survived by husband, Scott of the home near Vienna; daughter, Sherry Araus (Eliseo), of Phoenix, Ariz.; step-children, Jolie Bennett Thario, Kelly Bennett and Adam Bennett, all of Phoenix, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Following the wishes of Elva, the family elected cremation under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna.
