Wanda June VanScoy, 82, Dixon, passed away Friday, July 14, 2023, in Phelps Health in Rolla.
She was born June 1, 1941, to the late John and Nettie Florence (Null) Doyle near Dixon.
She was united in marriage to Earl William VanScoy March 1, 1958, in Dixon.
Wanda was employed with Brown Shoe Company in Dixon, for over 30 years, prior to retirement.
She was preceded in death by husband, Earl; parents, Nettie and John Doyle; brothers, Lloyd Bobby, Wilson,Willard, John and Junior Doyle; and sisters, Marjorie Jones, Blanche Fuller, Esther Schenk and Eva Doyle.
Wanda is survived by children, Brenda Ridgeway and husband Jeff and Glenda Emmons and husband Tony, all of Dixon, Linda Wagoner and husband Bob of St. Peters and Duane VanScoy and wife Donna of Vienna and; sister, Louella Jennings of Granite City, Ill.; brother-in-law, Donald VanScoy of Owego, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. (today) Wednesday, July 19, in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Helen Winters officiating.
Interment will be in the Seaton Cemetery near Dixon.
Memorial contributions suggested to the Seaton Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.
