Wayne Paul Feeler, 86, Myrtle Beach, S.C., formerly of Vienna, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021, in Myrtle Beach.

He was born Dec. 10, 1934, to the late Theodore Tilghman “Ted” and Effie Leona (Hayes) Feeler in Maries County.

He served his country in the U. S. Navy and served until May 23, 1957, when he was honorably discharged from active duty. His “Honorable Discharge” is a testimonial of honest and faithful service to his country.

Wayne was a graduate of the Vienna High School            He was employed by McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Corporation in St. Louis until his retirement in 1993. Wayne then worked for the Chevy Corporation for a time before fully retiring.

He was preceded in death by parents,Ted and Effie; brothers, Forest Alexander, Julius, Tilghman Alex and Delmar Theodore “Pat” Feeler; nephew, Johnny Todd Feeler and niece, Gina Wood.

Wayne is survived by his companion and wife of 32 years, Wynn, of the home in Myrtle Beach, S.C.; sons, Thomas Patrick Feeler and companion, Angela of Bowling Green, Ky and Matthew Pierceall of Waldorf, Md.; granddaughter, Audrey Lynn Feeler; two sisters, Anna Lee Baker and husband Jim of Tucson, Ariz. and Jackie Keaton and husband Larry of Licking; and sister-in-law, Norma Feeler of Vienna.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 9 a.m., Thursday, July 1, 2021, in James Community Cemetery in Vienna, with Rev. Larry Sorrells, Vienna United Methodist Church, officiating. Full military honors, under the auspices of Paul A. Hasenbeck Memorial American Legion Post 317, Freeburg, and inurnment will follow.
