Wilda Foster Gream, Linn, passed away peacefully on her 95th birthday, Thursday, Feb.  8, 2024, at Heisinger Bluffs in Jefferson City. 

She was born Feb. 8, 1929, to the late John Thomas Farris, Jr. and Lessie Lee (Reed) Farris in Kenton, Tenn.

She was united in marriage to Joe W. Foster Jan. 25, 1945, in Corinth, Miss. Joe preceded her in death May 20, 1981.  Then June 19, 1984, Wilda was united in marriage to Marvin Clayton Gream, Sr. in Rives. Clayton preceded her in death June 11, 2004.

She was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church in Judge.

Wilda enjoyed gardening, canning and teaching Sunday School.  Teaching Sunday School was her greatest joy.

She was preceded in death by spouses, Joe and Marvin; parents, John and Lessie; daughter, Patricia Dankenbring; and son-in-law, Nolan Dankenbring.

Wilda is survived by children, Shirley Turner and husband Rodney of Nixa, Kenny Foster  and wife Patty of Loose Creek, Wilma Fick and husband Kenny of Linn, Linda Huether and husband Keith of Columbia and Terry Foster of Fort Worth, Texas; brother, Fay Farris of Milan, Tenn.; grandchildren, Travis Turner and wife Melissa, Leanne McCoy and  husband Luther, Jamey Turner, Karin Haselhorst and husband Jeremy, Jason Huether, and wife Christin Jodie Nenninger and husband Forest, Kelly Fick and wife Sarah, Taylor Luebbering and husband Brandon and Casey, Kerry and Kyle Foster; great-grandchildren, Maggie Turner, Peyton Harrell, Lily and Violet Turner, Jackson and Isaac Haselhorst, Madison Huether, Charlie and Benjamin Fick and Wells Nenninger; and great-great- grandchildren, Asher, Braxton and Camree Zellers.

Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 12, at Morton Chapel in Linn with with Rev. Perry Wolfe and Chaplain Russ Pflasterer officiating.  Interment was in the Linn Public Cemetery. 

Memorial contributions suggested to Hospice Compassus or  St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
