Chamois continues to fight through tough circumstances, as the Lady Pirates were short-handed in their 75-10 loss to Calvary Lutheran. “They presented a challenging matchup,” said Coach Jennie Holifield. “With one player unavailable, our rotation was limited, which meant fewer opportunities for rest throughout the game. Savanah Sieg’s absence highlighted the important role she plays on the defensive end, particularly with her blocking ability. Playing the full 32 minutes without substitutions was demanding and tested our team’s endurance.”

Over the break, the Lady Pirates lost to Tipton, 83-19, but there were some positives.
“This game was a strong performance for our team and marked their second-highest scoring output of the season,” said Holifield. “The players continue to show steady improvement each time they take the court, competing with consistent effort and intensity through the final buzzer. Their growth since the beginning of the season is noticeable.”
Individual stats were not available.
Chamois did not play Crocker as scheduled last week. “We had to cancel due to family emergencies and illness,” said Holifield. “The break provided an opportunity for the players to rest and focus on skill development in practice.”
